Ministry of Oil and Gas Industry and Mineral Resources of Turkmenistan and Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry in partnership with the British company Summit Trade Events Lt, is delighted to invite you to take part in upcoming 18th Turkmenistan International Oil & Gas Conference, OGT 2013, taking place 19-21 November 2013, in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. 

In almost 20 years of its existence, OGT has established itself as one of the premier oil and gas events in Asia.

Turkmenistan's oil and gas sector is one of the main pillars of sustainable economic development. Along with intensification of hydrocarbon exploration and production, increase in quality and variety of oil and gas products, Turkmenistan has greatly invested in upgrade and modernisation of processing facilities, infrastructure, and introduction of advanced technologies, highlighting the long-term priority of the sector.

Turkmenistan has some of the world’s largest proven reserves of natural gas. To emphasise, the Galkynysh field alone contains the second largest reserves of gas in the world. According to the latest audit, Galkynysh holds 26,2 trillion cubic meters of natural gas.  In addition, Turkmenistan has substantial oil reserves as well as infrastructure and procession facilities, which provide additional opportunities to establish mutually beneficial partnerships with leading foreign companies. Along with ambitious plans to develop untapped reserves, Turkmenistan is destined to play a major role in the development of global oil and gas industry. 

Based on the policy of open doors, a sound legislative base and advantageous tax treatment, Turkmenistan has created a favourable investment climate as evidenced by established partnerships with well-known international companies from UK, UAE, China, Russia, USA, Germany, Japan, Canada, Malaysia and many others.

OGT 2013 will once again attract a lot of participants: about 700 delegates from 40 countries.  Active media support will be provided by the world's leading and regional outlets.
